WHY?

The Prayer Ministry at Springfield Baptist Church is doing some exciting things to empower, enlighten, people in our homes, our church, our community, our city, our county, our state, our nation and our world through the offensive power of prayer!

 

WHEN AND WHAT TIME DOES 

THE PRAYER MINISTRY MEET?  

The Prayer Ministry meetings start at 9:30 a.m. on every first Saturday before the first Sunday of each month (unless otherwise notified).  

 

WHERE  DOES 

THE PRAYER MINISTRY MEET?

The Prayer Ministry meetings are held in a designated classroom located within the James A. Gibson Fellowship Hall at Springfield Baptist Church located at 4309 Auburn-Knightdale Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27610.

What are the mission, plans of action and future objectives of the Prayer Ministry?     

 

 THE MINISTRY'S MISSION

vTo involve itself in the teaching, training and developing prayer warriors/intercessors from the body of believers of Jesus Christ within the church, AND;

vTo go out, empower, enlighten, encourage and strengthen people in our community, our city, our county, our state, our nation and our world through the offensive power of prayer.

 

 

THE MINISTRY'S PLANS OF ACTION

 

vReaching out to the community in providing prayer in their homes, rest homes, hospitals, prisons and churches.

 

vProviding basic teaching on what is prayer, how to pray, hindrances to prayer, using the Bible in prayer, prayer and spiritual warfare, prayer and fasting, the Holy Spirit-our Helper in prayer, Jesus-our example in prayer, etc.

 

THE MINISTRY'S OBJECTIVES

 

vTo develop teams of prayer intercessors for the church.

vTo sponsor an annual prayer seminar for the church and the community.

vTo establish a youth prayer group.

vTo sponsor a National Night of Prayer for America experience at the church.

vTo sponsor an encouragement session for prayer intercessors in the church, at other churches and/or in the community.   To involve itself in the teaching, training and developing prayer warriors/intercessors from the body of believers of Jesus Christ within the church, AND;

v  To go out, empower, enlighten, encourage and strengthen people in our community, our city, our county, our state, our nation and our world through the offensive power of prayer.
